This course, ‘Risks to self, others and service’ is the fourth micro course in the NDIS Registration Readiness Series.
Each micro course is designed to support Queensland NDIS providers understand the formal requirements of NDIS registration and the systems and evidence they will need to be registration ready.

While each course can be done independently, we do recommend completing the entire series.
This course is designed for people who do not have risk management training or advanced skills and particularly for small or sole traders who do not have a health safety team member to refer to when managing their risk.
It will unpack a major requirement for all NDIS workplaces and businesses including those wanting to become or maintain registration. Specifically, this course, covers risk management and an introduction to incident management.
It will look at the legal, operational and safeguarding responsibilities that NDIS providers have for risk management and the different compliance authorities and legislations they will need on their radar.
Topics looks at hazards and risk from both a workplace/WHS view as well as those unique to NDIS situations.
Like all courses in this series, ‘Risks to self, others and service’ focuses on applying learning fast, allowing services to see real visible progress well before they finish this micro course.
