OPEN NOW – 6. Applying to be a Registered NDIS Provider

All courses will be free to Queensland learners until October 2026 as part of the Micro-Credentialling Program.

This series is proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government.

This course, ‘Applying to be a Registered NDIS Provider’ is a micro course in the NDIS Registration Readiness Series.  Each course targets a part of the process to become registration ready.

This learning will focus on preparing for your application to become a registered provider, including: 

  • what will be asked on your application form
  • what to have ready and 
  • what to expect in an audit.

Each micro course in this series is designed to support Queensland NDIS providers understand the formal requirements of NDIS registration and the systems and evidence they will need to be registration ready.

This down to earth pathway is suitable for quality system beginners, with a focus on:

  • translating requirements into the language of everyday humans
  • short micro bursts of learning that fit around your daily timetables 
  • providing practical help in the form of tools and templates that are immediately useful.

What you will walk away with from this course:

  • A Scoping profile for your service– built during the session with information ready to enter in your application form. 
  • Key Personnel suitability record and consent
  • Worker screening record keeping templates for risk assessed roles and workers. 
  • A HELPr action plan – to plan your next steps, ready to grow as you complete more micro-courses.
  • Links to other templates, checklists, and guides you can adapt to your service.
