OPEN NOW: 3. Options for Evidence

All courses will be free to Queensland learners until May 2026 as part of the Micro-Credentialling Program.

We are proud that this program is funded and supported by the Queensland Government.

This course ‘Options for Evidence’ is the third of five micro courses in the NDIS Registration Readiness Series.

Each micro course is designed to support Queensland NDIS providers understand the formal requirements of NDIS registration and the systems and evidence they will need to be registration ready.

This down to earth pathway is suitable for quality system beginners, with a focus on:

  • translating NDIS requirements into the language of everyday humans
  • short micro bursts of learning that fit around your daily timetables
  • providing practical help in the form of tools and templates that are immediately useful.

While each course can be done independently, we do recommend completing the entire series.

This Course in the Series

This course will unpack the types of evidence providers can use to prove they meet the requirements of authorities (like the NDIS).

Previous courses in the series looked at what you may need to evidence, this course looks at the how.

After this training, you will be able to:

  • Better spot when evidence will be needed.
  • Understand common options
  • Choose which is best for your situation.
  • Translate formal tools like policy, procedures and registers into simple parts and language that make sense.
  • Follow the steps to create your own evidence, in your own words and to match your needs.
  • Explain the ways ‘paperwork’ can benefit you and make service provisions safer and easier.
  • Use a straightforward method (HELPr) designed to help support workers and small business owners break down complexity and build registration-ready systems.

You will achieve:

A Credential in Evidencing Proportional Systems (upon successful completion)

You will walk away with:

  • A Universal Good Evidence Test
  • A Mock Audit Interview Guide
  • A Policy Outline with prompts and descriptors
  • A checklist to use when making a policy to ensure you have things covered
  • A training register with examples based on the Practice Standards
  • A self-assessment for Service Agreements
  • A system builder tool for evidence that connects not contradicts
  • A plan to build an Information Management System; and
  • A HELPr spreadsheet with links to more than 110 supportive tools, templates, checklists and guides ready for you
